FloorBed 1-Plus Nursing Bed
At just 7.1cm FloorBed 1 Plus is a little higher than a tennis ball, reducing the risk of injury from falls. It rises to full nursing height to facilitate care tasks and offers comprehensive functional and clinical benefits to maximise user safety. With its wider mattress platform, FloorBed 1 Plus aids with mobility and independence of larger service users.

- FloorBed 1 Plus has a weight capacity of up to 35 stone
- The additional 150mm width gives extra space which may be required when turning
- The extra width may be beneficial when there is not adequate space for the full width of a bariatric bed or if carers would struggle to reach across a bariatric bed to carry out care tasks
- At 1050mm wide this bed may reduce the risk of bed falls for a person who is used to sleeping in a single bed
- 150mm wider than a standard single designed to meet the needs of a plus size service user that doesn’t require the full width of a bariatric bed
