Holds person secure
This belt is very good, we ordered it for my father that has a tendency to stretch his legs out while seated in chairs to the point that he at times slips off the chair. It takes a few minutes to strap him in but I easy to use and hold him secure. My father is a little guy 145 lbs and 5'4" and the belt is huge....it is one size fits all and will hold larger folks. I am very happy with the belt.
