The Hausted VIC chair is specifically designed for modified barium swallow studies for AP and lateral imaging. It allows for easy re-positioning of the patient with Velcro straps to ensure safety and efficiency when used as a procedural chair for diagnosis and treatment.
The shortened base is easy to maneuver in small rooms with large imaging equipment. The radiolucent backrest adjusts to a full upright position of 90 degrees for a clear unobstructed view for imaging. This unit adjusts easily from sitting to supine and provides a rotating seat section with a stable work surface during patient treatment. Transport, treatment, procedure, and recovery can be performed on the same unit to improve case turn around and stream-line patient handling. The easy-to-operate rotating seat section saves time in re-positioning the patient for anterior-posterior and lateral imaging views.

How to make a damage claim?
Products or parts damaged in shipping are typically replaced depending on the condition and the damage. Our packing stage has improved over the years to virtually avoid all possibility of damage. In the event that the product you received was damaged you may make a claim by contacting customer service at (833-238-4633) or by emailing us at admin@cevimed.com. We will then contact you to determine how we can provide a solution to the damaged product.
How to make a warranty claim?
In the event that a warranty claim is needed, customers are asked to call (833-238-4633) or email us at admin@cevimed.com regarding their claim. We will then try to troubleshoot directly with you to resolve the issue. If we are unable to assist by providing a solution from our facility, we will contact a technician in your area to meet at your office to diagnose and repair the product.

Our Warranty Promise
We created our own warranty program to show our customers how dedicated we are to creating quality refurbished equipment that will last. With your purchase of any refurbished unit of equipment, we will guarantee a full parts and labor warranty.
Our warranty will cover most, if not all technical malfunctions that inhibit the machines natural performance capabilities. We do not cover accidental damage to the machine resulting from misuse or modifications. Requesting Warranty Claims:
Please be prepared to provide the following information via phone or email when placing a warranty claim with Cevi Med for all refurbished items purchased from Cevi Med.

Any additional information provided, such as pictures, to help identify your case can likewise be attached within emailed claims. Our team will then process your request and follow up to your provided contact information to discuss action plans to resolve your described issues. Depending on the case, we may schedule a local technician to service your unit, send out replacement parts, or provided a refund as deemed necessary.
Please allow the appropriate time for warranty claims to process as servicing and part ordering can take up to several weeks to occur depending on availability of the third party. Regardless of the case, we will do our best to assist in anyway possible to effectively and efficiently resolve your claim.

Manufacturer's Warranty
Items that are purchased as brand new will refer back to the manufacturer's warranty if provided. Contact our customer service support team for inquiries relating to products that are warranted by third parties. Should you need to place a claim for new items, please note that Cevi Med is not liable for the third parties designated solution provided for your claim.
Extended Warranties
At this time, items warrantied by Cevi Med (custom orders, upholstery, refurbished orders) cannot be extended beyond the 1 year or 120 days originally offered.
Items that are warranted by the manufacturer can only purchase extended warranties as provided by the third party.
