The Detecto Digital Portable Fold-Up Wheelchair Scale (#809161139402 / Model 6550) is versatile and designed to be both a stand-on scale and a wheelchair scale. It includes an advanced Detecto Weight Indicator with optional Ethernet output mounted on a 360° rotating swivel bracket for easy viewing, and an easy to read blue LCD display. The scale features heavy duty wheels for ease of transport, sloped ramps on both sides, and a fold-up feature that makes it easy to store. The 6550 is powered by 6 "C" batteries or optional MVIPWR AC adapter (#809161189506).
The 6550 scale's column folds down and latches securely for easy transport; the vertical-fold feature requires minimal floor space for storage, and stays in an upright position when not in use. These features make the 6550 ideal for use in multiple areas.
The MV1 MedVue Weight Indicator attached to the 6550 Scale is the clinical industry's most advanced, featuring EMR/EHR-ready serial, USB and optional Wi-Fi connectivity, BMI calculation, "quick keys" for basic weighing, and an LCD display. Other features of the MV1 include patient ID storage and scanning for EMR/HER records and a hold/release key to hold weight after leaving the scale for better patient care. We created our own warranty program to show our customers how dedicated we are to creating quality refurbished equipment that will last. With your purchase of any refurbished unit of equipment, we will guarantee a full parts and labor warranty.
Our warranty will cover most, if not all technical malfunctions that inhibit the machines natural performance capabilities. We do not cover accidental damage to the machine resulting from misuse or modifications. Please be prepared to provide the following information via phone or email when placing a warranty claim with Cevi Med for all refurbished items purchased from Cevi Med.

Any additional information provided, such as pictures, to help identify your case can likewise be attached within emailed claims. Our team will then process your request and follow up to your provided contact information to discuss action plans to resolve your described issues. Depending on the case, we may schedule a local technician to service your unit, send out replacement parts, or provided a refund as deemed necessary.
Please allow the appropriate time for warranty claims to process as servicing and part ordering can take up to several weeks to occur depending on availability of the third party. Regardless of the case, we will do our best to assist in anyway possible to effectively and efficiently resolve your claim.

Items that are purchased as brand new will refer back to the manufacturer's warranty if provided. Extended Warranties
At this time, items warrantied by Cevi Med (custom orders, upholstery, refurbished orders) cannot be extended beyond the 1 year or 120 days originally offered.
Items that are warranted by the manufacturer can only purchase extended warranties as provided by the third party.
