The standard scaler (7) can be cleaned with any neutral liquid for cleaning and sterilization. Do not autoclave. For both standard scaler or LED, the following sterilization methods are forbidden:
- Put in boiling water
- Heat in stove, oven or microwave
- Soak in disinfectants such as iodine, alcohol or glutaraldehyde.
