QRS 3L Spirometry Calibration Syringe
The QRS 3L Spirometry Calibration Syringe allows you to check the volume accuracy of your QRS spirometer at least daily, as per ATS guidelines. Although QRS spirometers cannot be calibrated in the field, the syringe allows you to check your calibration. If your calibration is off, please contact QRS for recalibration of your spirometer.
Warranty: 1 Year.
QRS spirometers do not require routine calibration. However if the device is dropped or has sustained physical damage, it will need to be re-calibrated. ATS Guidelines state "While manufacturers are responsible for demonstrating the accuracy and reliability of the systems that they sell, it is the user who is responsible for ensuring that the equipment's measurements remain accurate."
Please note, calibration syringes do not re-calibrate devices or pneumotachs, they merely check if the device or mouthpiece is in calibration.
