The Masimo Nomoline Adapter provides no moisture sampling for extended monitoring of non-intubated patients. The advanced technology allows for cost-effective, hassle-free sidestream capnography and gas measurements.
The Nomoline Adapter is designed to support use in a wide range of clinical applications and patient populations from infants to adults.
How Nomoline Works:
Gas and condensed moisture from the patient's expired breath enters the Nomo Section through the gas sample tube.
Condensed moisture and aspirated water is separated and collected using a hydrophilic absorbent.
Water molecules are diffused from the hydrophilic absorbent through the Nomo polymer cover.
Long-term use is possible as the water diffused through the Nomo polymer cover continuously evaporates into the surrounding air.
A hydrophobic liquid and bacteria filter protects the gas module from water intrusion and cross-contamination.
Using Nomoline with Root: The ISA module with Nomoline sampling lines connects to the Root patient monitoring platform via Masimo Open Connect (MOC-9) ports.
Masimo Nomoline Adapter Features:
Patented polymer design allows water in the sampling line to evaporate into the surrounding air, while leaving oxygen, carbon dioxide, and anesthetic gas measurements unaffected and eliminating the need for a water trap and associated clogging.
Reduces disposable costs through extended monitoring time in low- and high-humidity environments, as well as the ability to use non-proprietary cannulas.
Hydrophobic liquid and bacteria filter protects the ISA module from bacteria and water intrusion to maintain continuous performance.
Designed for low sampling flow applications and to be functional in any orientation.
