About this item

Zoll; R-Series Plus BLS 3-Lead, Pacing, Spo2 , NIBP, EtC02 and AED

The Zoll R Series Defibrillator is a smarter Defibrillator. Remarkably, 80% of in-hospital cardiac arrests present with a non-shockable rhythm. That’s why it’s vitally important that defibrillators go beyond just providing a shock. Shockable or non-shockable rhythm, 100% of patients will require CPR, and the better the CPR, the better the outcome. Survival depends on compressions that are fast—but not too fast—and deep—but not too deep—with full release, minimal interruptions, and appropriate ventilation. That’s a lot to keep track of. It’s the reason that Zoll R Series Defibrillators have easy-to-use technologies that help you consistently deliver high-quality CPR. With the Zoll R Series, you have the flexibility to meet the needs of both BLS or ALS trained providers, and patients that range from pediatrics to adults.

The R Series Plus is truly two devices in one. To meet the needs of BLS-trained responders, it powers on as an AED. But with the push of a button, it converts to a full-featured manual defibrillator for ALS responders. Using standard wireless technology, it can automatically relay this information to Defibrillator Dashboard,™ which provides a quick snapshot of the overall health of the entire defibrillator fleet that can be viewed on a PC or mobile device. Defibrillator Dashboard optimizes defibrillator readiness and increases efficiency for the biomedical engineering team.

The R Series Plus Defibrillator also features Rectilinear Biphasic Waveform (RBW) that was designed for external defibrillation to control for variations in patient impedance through a series of digitally-controlled internal resistors. This feature provides the maximum average current held for the optimum duration. RBW provides more current than the typical "high energy" biphasic that other defibrillators use, and has proven to be more effective than monophasic waveforms, especially on high-impedance patients.

Using Real CPR Help® technology, the R Series provides audio and visual feedback that guides rescuers to consistently deliver high-quality CPR. If compressions aren’t deep enough, you will hear, “Push harder.” And detailed visual feedback, including the rate and depth of each compression, is displayed on the CPR Dashboard™. If either one falls out of the Guidelines-recommended range, it will be indicated by a color change. Additionally, the diamond-shaped Perfusion Performance Indicator, or PPI, provides a quick indication of how well the combined rate and depth of compressions match current CPR Guidelines. The dashboard also provides a compression release indicator. When the bar is full, you know that you’ve come completely off the chest to allow for full recoil.

Features:

      • Guidelines 2005 compatible AED.
      • Real CPR Help.
      • Manual override.
      • OneStep.
      • OneStep CPR Cable.
      • Code Readiness testing system.
      • Rectilinear Biphasic Technology.
      • Compact Flash Card Slot.
      • 3 Lead ECG cable with AHA markings.
      • Built in port.
      • Integrated AC Power (120 VAC/60 Hz).

Parameters:

      • Pulse Oximetry (SpO2): Provides fast and accurate means of continuous and non-invasive monitoring of patients who are at risk for developing hypoxemia. SpO2 possesses adult, pediatric, and neonatal capabilities, monitors both ECG rate and pulse rate when pacing. Includes reusable adult sensor and 4 foot extension cable.
      • End-Tidal (EtCO2) Mainstream Technology: Provides continuous end-tidal CO2 monitoring and diagnostic information with a Respironics CAPNOSTAT 5 sensor (*adapters not included). EtCO2 is for use with adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
      • Non-Invasive Blood Pressure (NIBP): Provides and displays readings of systolic, diastolic, and mean blood pressure and displays history of NIBP measurements taken in the last few hours. Includes 23 - 33 cm reusable cuff, 3 meter air hose, RMT motion tolerance. NIBP is for use on adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
